As you may have seen in my story this morning we had a virtual showroom tour from Hay. Is this the new normal? Anyway it was lovely to see around the new Copenhagen showroom.
Wednesday for us product day, so we are looking at a new sofa from Hay called the Arbour. We love EVERYTHING about this sofa! From the paired back aesthetics to the, to the level of thought about the sustainability of the product that went into the design. Designed by Daniel Rybakken & Andreas Engesvik for Hay please head over to the @haydesign website to check it out and learn more. Big love for this way of thinking about design for keeps!

This is still one of my favorite projects to date. @zahlirestaurant in Surry Hills, Sydney. We still love working on hospitality spaces, this one was so special with the combination of encaustic tiles, carerra marble, venetian plaster walls and our custom designed light fittings.
All topped off with the classic Thonet furniture selection 🖤.

This little gem caught my eye when it popped up in my inbox a couple of weeks ago.
This is the SIXtematic standing desk 2 by @sixayfurniture . I thought it was such a timely message when worldwide we are rethinking how and where we work.
I love that this addresses ergonomic issues that sitting all day at your dining table may not.... and that it is a beautifully designed piece of furniture that doesn’t necessarily have to be hidden away in a separate room.

Back in Oz a lot of our work was for large developers selling apartments off the plans. Generally when the sales suite was in the city the budget to fit out this space was quite generous. This project however, was not in the city and the developer wanted a city style sales suite, on an IKEA budget. This was the outcome and I think we did pretty well! 😉

Gone are the days of cumbersome entertainment units to gods all the large pieces of equipment, with all boxes being redundant because your tv houses it all.
Now your tv can be just another beautiful piece of furniture in your space, rather than taking it over completely!
